In 2021 I went to the game at Pittsburgh. I sat next to a Pitt fan (nice guy) and that guy told me that if we had their quarterback we’d beat them by four touchdowns. Their quarterback was Kenny Pickett and ours was DJ. It was a fantastic trip to Pittsburgh but I don’t think I can remember ever sitting in the stands at a game and being more frustrated.

I would definitely have traded DJU for Pickett

I don't understand how our fans can never see or understand that whatever Cade was able to get done in his first season as our starting QB. 80% of his success was done with Cade on his on without much or any help from our O line, and without any help from our injured starting receivers, and only very little help from our 2nd, 3d, or 4th string receivers...

Last season offensive result wasn't all just bc Cade was a first year starter, most of that was bc our O L coach didn't have the experience to coach a power 5 O-line, and IMO our WR coach didn't have enough experience to coach up 3d and 4th string receivers enough to help bailout a first year starting QB...

If coach Luke is worth his salt, and I believe that he is, but with as little time he's had with working with the o line, it should be just a bit better than anything we saw last season. And if our receiving core is as healthy as they say they are, and with the help of a couple elite freshman receivers, I believe we'll see a much different Cade Klubnik in 2024!!!

If you still wonder about that, go to youtube and type in ( Cade Klubnik's senior games as Westlake high school QB.) You can see Cade at his best in HS. There you will see Cade being a much better QB than he has been as our QB. With the Westlake FB team, they had an O line that could block their opponents, and they had receivers that could run routes and catch the FB....

Thank you! Idc who’s under center, if there’s a DL in your face in a second and a half, you’re going to struggle and make mistakes. Cade was a major improvement over DJ. At least he didn’t hand off to the wrong team!
