Than Murphy...I posted on the that tread that looking like already had a QB lined up. Remember Murphy was rated 11th in the ACC in QB ratings so it wasn't a huge loss. Link:

So I don't know ### this guy is, but you obviously didn't watch Maalik Murphy. He's been REALLY good this year and is one of the reasons Duke has done so well. He doesn't really have any weapons around him so he has to do more than most QBs. He's a gunslinger. 3,000 yards and 28 touchdowns without any blue chip receivers around him. He has a lower QB rating because he's asked to make things happen with his arm which leads to a decent number of picks (much like Deshaun Watson did for us, though obviously Deshaun was much better).

But he's #22 in the country in passing yards and #14 in touchdowns. I am very, very skeptical that your guy, who had less yards and less touchdowns against much worse competition will somehow be an upgrade.

disagree a little bit. He had two 3rd team All-ACC receivers in Jordan Moore and Eli Panchol. Moore was preseason 1st team but had an injury that slowed him down in the middle of the season. He had one of the best catches of the season vs Miami. He will get drafted in April. Link:

Also, Mensah is rated as the #1 QB in the portal. Murphy is rated as the #6 QB in the portal.

Yeah, stats say otherwise. And I'll go with hard numbers and the eyeball test over these random recruiting services. They're not very good. Don't forget they gave a fictional player 3 stars a couple years ago because someone tricked them into thinking Alabama offered them.

As you said, Moore's been hurt all season. He was injured against UConn in game 3. He missed a game and then played injured the rest of the year, and it's been obvious he's been a shadow of his healthy self. So I can't count a player that's been limping along. Pancol has been pretty mediocre, check out his YAC, but he's definitely not a blue chip, which is what I said.
