We have a long way to go to get our concessions back to average
Lower deck is just plain bad. I’ve had better food in third world countries compared to the upper deck
It’s embarrassing
What’s the holdup? WHO’s Aramark bribing?

Don’t understand why we don’t take more pride in that part of the Gameday experience. It is too expensive and typically really slow - and tastes below average.
Not sure if the same but before I retired from Clemson - catered an event for our staff and used Lil Bistro in Liberty. Got in some hot water. Only ARAMARK at that time.

Try some pro games, $20 for BAD food, beer is $15 and mixed drinks $25. A scoop of ice cream $10……Bad food & High prices!
I'll take the food and prices at Death Valley!
Plus the environment is better in Clemson.

Heck I’d take the panthers/charlotte FCs stuff in a heartbeat. Sabor Latin food, Bojangles ,multiple bbq places and dukes mayo has a whole stand in there with food. And you can refill your drinks. The upper deck isn’t bad either

$2 hot dog is now $3 as of last year. It’s a weird thing to be so stubborn about as whatever the product cost is paid by the fans and not Clemson. I’m assuming in the contract the provider would have to pay Clemson to have the right to sell their product. Maybe Aramark is writing Clemson a couple million dollar check every year to serve all events ? Maybe Aramark gives Neff free refills as a kickback?
I do think it’s time to possibly move in another direction as far as whoever is in charge of game day operations. Not many changes that have occurred in the last 5 years in my opinion have made the stadium experience better .
We should hire away Wake Forest operations manager. My opinion they way over perform in terms of what what they offer overall once in the stadium

ARAmark is clearly the low bidder and is currently on year 4 of a 7-year contract. It's much worse for freshmen paying for a required dining hall plan than it is for football fans who are in the stadium for four hours seven times a year.

at Clemson. We weren’t allowed to order pizza. We were supposed to “cater” it through Aramark. We did that once and the pizza was terrible. We resumed ordering pizzas from Columbos.

The only thing I buy from concessions is a Diet Coke and sometimes even that is flat and disgusting. At least we can leave the game to go tailgate and return to the stadium later.

do you people not tailgate and eat food before the game. nothing is more annoying than people walking back and forth in front of you yo go to concession stand. and just think how bad it will be when they start selling beer. a lot of you just need to stay outside and watch the game on tv where you have snacks and beer and a bathroom.

I do know this that we do have better concessions than the ACC championship and NC State. At NC State they actually ran out of ICE one time ICE. They have also ran out of coke before dont know how you do that and consider yourself a football school. ACC championship game every time i have went they are closing up by end of halftime I guess they are used to the Carolina Panthers sucking but here In Clemson we expect you to stay open till midway through the 4th quarter and still be able to get drinks from soda fountain

event with the intent to rely on concessions for food and/or drink. I just expect it will be overpriced awful tasting fast food that's unhealthy and I've yet to be disappointed by that.
It's not like you are trapped in there for days on end at a cricket match.
That said I'm not big on eating out in general. I'll just make my own or on occasion will pick up something from somewhere along the way and take it with me.

Thanks to Aramark. Basketball used to have good freshly popped popcorn at the popcorn machines but they did away with that very stale popcorn.

I guess it would be too much to ask for mobile ordering too where someone brings it to your seat. I believe the Miss. St. venues have that now and I'm sure others do too. Clemson needs to get with the times.

If you think our concessions suck go to a game at your SEC buddy TAMU...$10 coke, watered down, $6 POPCORN with the use by date of 1946...everything expensive and all second class...must have been paying for the new stadium and Dumbo Fishnet! Minute Maid in Houston has great concessions (Astros) Jerry's world in Dallas great but expensive...depends on what you are willing to pay for?

If I don't like something I eat at a restaurant, I don't go back. If I don't like the food at the concession stand, I don't buy it. I am not a child.

Didn’t mind the bad food when Scouts and Churches were serving and probly getting a cut
Since they moved everything to Center of upper deck it’s been bad. And everything is in even dollars and they got to look at a card to figure change
Don’t think CU wants anyone else to make a dollar up there on game day

As you know Clemson, until very recently, was classified as a very rural school and there was no basketball talent in the State. 😉
