Former Irish star isn't lugubrious after watching Tigers practice for two days

Aaron Taylor watched Clemson practice for two days earlier this week, but the CBS college football analyst wasn’t lugubrious as he left town. In fact, he left impressed with what he saw. Full Story »

You better believe it, big boy.

Loved Dabo's comment about lugubrious leprechauns. Guess we made a believer of Taylor, pretty high on our 17 chances. One of a few analysts that are. Seemed impressed with O & D lines, which is spot on.

Embarrassing for the CBS experts.

Now that there is one of the most lugubrious looks as it gets but, I'll bet that if the Notre Dame fans in DV had been observed in that rain, that night, we would have seen the worlds best lugubrious looks on the faces of the Notre Dame that has ever been seen in the history of the word lugubrious....

Well if there was ever a lugubrious look on someones face, that's surely it on Aaron Taylor's face in that pic. That is as lugubrious as lugubrious can get, enjoy Tiger Town Aaron, and bring that lugubrious look with you to the next Clemson-Notre Dame game bc, it does suit you well lugubrious guy!!!

GoTiguhs!!

Not looking forward to a post Dabo era. Gotta love what he has done here.

Tremendous individual athletes here, yes. But he's built a program here that doesn't depend on one individual. This is one reason I think our offense gets it done this year. Big nasties on both lines and skill position are great. And practicing against each other everyday.

I'm one that doesn't believe practicing against your own team regardless of how good, great they are is a good thing bc of the same, same, same, day in and day out causes a team to look for that same style of play against our opponents, and those looks won't be there and that is what can be confusing and cause our guys to react to what isn't there, especially the lack of another teams speed.

Great recall of a moment that didn't give us much respect in the interview. Little old Clemson. No way were we going to be able to beat big, bad ND, but we did! And who left lugubrious? Yep, the oft heralded but not currently so accomplished, the mighty ND. God, help me I do love it so!

I love when the media talks about Clemson in that way.

The real story is that we are LOADED. And Dabo keeps them coming every year.

Goobers in that show. They're also known as the gang who couldn't shoot straight !

"They're (Clemson) not ready for a team like Notre Dame"

Aug 24, 2017, 12:32 PM

"I think Notre Dame is used to this. Last time Clemson was on a stage like this it was a horror show (FSU 13)."

"Notre Dame has a distinct advantage on both sides of the ball."

"This will be the game that elevates the Irish to their national championship run that they're going to go on."

What a bunch of hacks.

Randy Cross was more obnoxious than aaron Taylor IMHO

Aug 24, 2017, 3:46 PM

Randy Cross voiced some pretty stupid opinions on this particular panel but, he doubled down on his disregard for Clemson later on ... even mentioning that "C" word.

Randy Cross is a true jack-azz.
