So this season is killing me. I was a student when we didn’t allow either Herschel Walker or George Rogers to score a TD on us in their entire careers. And made a point of it. Clemson has historically played physical, tough, exciting defense. We have not been the same since Venables left but this year is the worst I can remember.
I don’t profess to know the answer to how we got here or what needs to be done to fix it. I’m not a coach. I just know I miss seeing Clemson defense.

non-stop for Defense and sat down for Offense. Lots of good times through the 1980's!

The problem is not recruiting...it's development..we took 3 & 4 stars and made 5's out of them...now what we get go nowhere! What Dabo did with the touch is long gone!
