Had to turn it off. First Herbie makes some comment about Texas having an SEC caliber defensive line with four future NFL draft picks. So I guess all SEC teams have 4 future NFL draft picks on their D-line now. Give me a break.

Then they give that McAfee guy a segment where he was yelling some nonsense at the screen. So annoying. I'm assuming that I'm no longer in the target demographic. If I ever was.

ESPN target audience is 18-39. Secondary is 40-1234. Yes, 1234. Hahaha.

I feel you. I’m sick of the disrespect of the ACC. Dook took ND to the wire. (Doook) Should have beat them. Went into prevent defense on 4th and 17 and prevent prevented them from winning.

We do the same thing (bad zone defense) at times. Man press is shutting down opposing offense. When we go Tampa 2 or any other zone; we get picked apart by elite QB. The linebackers let RB and TE run wild on wheel routes.

The way I see it right now, the PAC12 is the best conference in football. The ACC is slightly better than the SEC as a whole.

We need to force ND into the ACC along with Oregon State and Washington State. They are more attractive than Cal and Stanford today. The only hope we have is adding teams to bring our total closer to twenty. The ACC contract would be the death penalty for any school brave enough to leave.

We have more playoff appearances as a conference than any not named SEC. They have had a couple years with two in the playoff. If it weren’t for that, we’d only have one less CFP appearance as a conference. The SEC has won the most championships and the ACC isn’t too far behind I. That regard.

We need ACC teams to make a run into the playoff and string together a few championships in a row. It wouldn’t shut the talking heads up; but we may earn the deserved respect.

The SEC does have the better NFL prospects than the ACC. Clemson just happens to have the caliber to do well anywhere.
