I may have been the one who made the comment your are referring to about Zach not being the most inspirational. Zach is one of the finest people, with tremendous character, that you will ever meet. However, he is fairly vanilla and not of a personality like Paul Azinger.

My Dad and I attended the 2008 Ryder Cup at Valhalla when Paul Azinger was the Captain and he was just amazing in that role. Not only did he come up with the Pod concept to bring players closer, but he was an amazing master motivator and orchestrator. Those guys came in fired up everyday. There was a lot of hype and buzz leading up to that Ryder Cup. To your point, you haven't heard much coming into this one. These were the concerns I was alluding to and today's results seem to bear that out.

Hopefully, they can close the gap tomorrow and then play lights out in singles and hang on to the Cup!
