Page 39. Build it and they will come. Think it will have a Chick Fil A?

Brownell building an oculus just smells of desperation. You need to be careful with that sort of power. It's why we had to sign BV to a 4 year extension to harness all the power of the DV oculus.

Maybe he could try under inflating our basketballs slightly to gain a competitive edge.

I saw that. Looks like they are flipping the court around too, from running North-South to East-West...also similar to DV.
Are they keeping the Littlejohn name (which it appears they are in the drawings)? If so, why are they calling this season the last one in Littlejohn?

I like the new design

This is what we need to do to keep up with the ACC. Moving the tunnels and having student seating all the way across the baseline will definitely change the feel of the game for the players. And going off of the digital model of the stadium, it looks as if the angle of the seats are different. LJ should definitely have a different, but much better, feel/atmosphere once the project is completed

So basically we are not tearing it down we are just gutting it
Sigh my excitement for this project just went down. The outside looks awful. The exposed metal will still be there etc.
If you are going to spend this much money on it then do it right. Stop half assing it. The building should have been torn down in 2003 when the roof issue was discovered in the first place.

no point in gutting the existing seating and structure. It will look fine.

looking arena from the outside. It looks boxy and industrial. I know these are preliminary drawings, but hopefully that improves.

Maybe we should wait until the drawings are 100% and THEN share negative feedback, when they're least likely to be able to do anything about it.
Come on, deroberts, you're better than this.

And their improved arena is really nice. You know we are going to do some things different and improve on Ga Tech to not copy their specific arena. It will be really nice when finished.

Agree about the exterior. If we're going to go the distance

and fully transform LJ, the exterior needs to reflect more of the character of Clemson than what they're showing here does. This isn't the area that we need to fall short on as it appears in the renderings.
