prowess of Deshaun Watson and Trevor Lawrence. But on the play in the 2016 championship game where Deshaun hit Renfrow for the winning score, let’s assume our coaching brain trust had decidedly to call a quarterback run. Which past or present Clemson quarterback would you want to carry the ball in that situation? I would go with Dantzler. Who would you trust to get us a couple of yards in that situation?

Woody's game didnt work on fast good D's. He got destroyed at FSU. He couldnt do anything. They just loaded the line and that was that.

If passing wasn't an option, if it was run all the way, Woody Dantzler. The runs that guy made, sometimes swarmed by defenders, were incredible.

I would not have confidence in any guy who ever played for us.
A run call would have been insane in that situation no matter who had the ball.
An incomplete pass hopefully gives us a shot at the tying FG ... but any failure on a run and the game is over and we lose.
