This Defense is going to be so fun to watch! One of the most disheartening things an OL faces is playing your #### off, worn out trying to figure out a way to win your battle against a player who is even better than you are, and then look up time and again at a fresh replacement who is just as good, or maybe even better than the guy he just replaced. That will happen all season long this year. Our Defense, especially DL, will rock, and there is nothing opponents can do about it except stand there and take it like a jackarse in a hail storm.

Huggy could play 4 games this year then come back and start

That could improve his draft status quite a bit. Barring injury, I don't expect him to do it, but the ability to play 4 full games at any point in the season makes it much more viable than it used to be.

He never used his redshirt. I know he won't.....

... but due to the new rule, it's out there. Someone did it about 10 years ago during the Ricky Sapp era, I can't recall who. But he had to take the year completely off.

Andre Branch is who you are thinking of if I recall correctly.

Redshirted his 4th year, the 2010 season. Played as a fifth year senior in 2011. I'm not aware of an injury being involved. At the time I thought it was a depth chart thing with Bowers and Branch ahead of him and both in their last year. Similar to Huggy's situation.

I was thinking formidable was an understatement...

but maybe it is on the money... "inspiring fear or respect through being impressively large, powerful, intense, or capable"
