I hope four SEC teams are in the playoff the first year.

It will force the hand yet again and expand to a real playoff. If the incest bowl didn't happen we wouldn't have a playoff. No one wants to see that scenario other than the sec fans.

Never count out the sleaziness of eSECpn. Their will be 7-8 SEC teams in the top 25 to start the year next year. they schedule no one OOC so when both SEC teams are ranked and they play each other, the winner jumps 4-8 spots while the loser drops 2-4 spots. Inevitably, you have 5 teams in the top 10 like they do every year. The perfect formula if you ask me.

even 3 will do it ! 2 may as it will cause the conversation that it has not changed from BCS.

The other two teams have an equal opportunity to win play for and win the national championship. All they would have to do would be to beat the 2 SEC teams. Pretty simple.

ESPN has no say over who gets in the playoffs............ The five major football conferences own and run the playoffs........ Do you really think they are going to let one conference have more than one team......... You can be assured that the first playoff will consist of 4 conference champions........... The committee will not take the top 4 teams in the AP or the USAToday poll and there will be no BCS poll........ They will select based on conference play........... This will be just like the early days of the NCAA basketball when only the ACC champions went to the playoffs.........

ummm, only reason Slive agreed to this playoff was that it will now be allowed for the sec to have no more limits.

Now, it would be very difficult for the sec to have all 4 teams. however, 3 out of the 4 is possible. And 2 out of the 4 is all but guaranteed .
