I'm not sure if it's the head cold medicine, but I just heard Finebaum and Steven A agree that Clemson should be in the CFP if we beat SCar this weekend (regardless of an ACC championship game appearance) and that Alabama does not deserve to be in the CFP. Am I currently living in a bizarro world?! 🤔

How dare they actually show us some favor?!!! They are supposed to be perpetually in a state of hatred against us to fuel our outrage at them and inflame our sense of self-righteousness! How dare they start to like us!

I mean no one: Meteorologists, reality show hosts, the guy who picks lottery numbers, the actors in the spurtle commercials….

All he cares about is the NBA and NFL

What's interesting is that Stephen A actually raised the question and appeared dumbfounded about the possibility of the CFP committee leaving out Dabo (not Clemson), assuming we win, after the King of Gasbags (Mad Dog Chris Russo) talked down on Clemson and everyone not in the SEC. It was weird to witness Stephen A champion Clemson. But he is all about brands; we know how much he loves Bama. Glass half-full, Clemson is now that brand everyone knows. As long as we stay relevant, we have reached brand name recognition status and earned the benefit of the doubt like Bama and Jawja have. Now we have to DO SOMETHING WITH IT this Saturday.

I’ve seen some of it in the past and came away thinking that even the screaming gas bags don’t believe what they’re saying. It seems like theater to me. Someone has to take the opposite side so that they can have an argument and I’m not sure there’s always a disagreement; they just play it on TV.
