Latest Portal chatter has DJ 99% to UCLA? I thought that

was dead? Who really knows.
To me, the most intriguing prospect at QB still out there is Grayson McCall of Coastal. The kid has skills and that indefinable "moxie", much like Max Duggan of TCU. I would have thought he would have a new home by now. Maybe he has several good offers, and just weighing them, but no news flotsam about him that I can find.

and while I have never made a dime coaching offense or evaluating talent, DJ doesn't seem like he would be a good fit in the type offense UCLA runs. While they run a lot of play action if they are able to establish the running game, the core of this offense is a zone read or triple option which is not a strength of DJ's IMO.

It isn't just you. I watch UCLA - he'd be a bad fit with all the zone read even if they didn't just bring in a 5 star frosh. Fresno State would make a lot of sense to me. Good fit, he could probably put up big numbers, closer to home.
