I have decided to come to Tampa with my 9 year old

and try to find tickets near game time. will be driving from Nashville down 75. My issue is finding a hotel room that is either not a dump or $500 a night. Willing to driver back an hour or so after the game before hotel. Any ideas on towns and hour of 1.5 hours north of Tampa up 75 to try and get one Monday night?

Also what will it cost me to park my truck near the stadium?

someone in here who lives in tampa says tickets will be available at a much better price at 5PM tomorrow. He was very confident. He has talked to several wholesalers who are holding the tickets at a high price until then. He says they will dump them at 5PM.

And we are bonded til this day, 37 yrs later! Attended many Bowl Games together & he graduated from Clemson too! ??

Now, can't answer the hotel question since not going but when I looked up hotels last week, I was planning on staying between Orlando & Tampa, but closer to Tampa..and prices were reasonable, say a Best Western, etc.

Heard the parking is $50 up depending, and assume it's sold out already anywhere near stadium but could find lot out & take a shuttle.

Do what we all do at times..wing it as you get to it.

But, securing tix near stadium & without selling your truck is another matter..for that issue is scary. Good Luck TiGer! ????

Try a hotel in St Petersburg/Pinellas Park. It's about a 30-40 minute drive depending on the time(don't leave after 5pm). As for parking, whenever I've gone to Raymond James, houses surrounding the stadium usually let you use their yard for parking between $5-$20 but of course the prices will hike with it being such an important game. Go Clemson from a die hard Noles fan!!!

We are staying just west of Orlando about 50 miles from Tampa. Holiday inn express rooms under $100. Nice hotel other Tigers here also. It's right off I 4.
