that means a lot for Brownell. I just know that a gracious and classy loser always compliments the other team and the other team's coach. Gracious and classy winners often do the same. I'm not sold on Brownell yet, but I definitely don't think he needs to go yet. I think people on here tend to respond with more emotion than intelligence (I know I am guilty of it at times too).

I can't think of another coach that has ever challenged the fans of the team that just beat them to come out and continue to support that team.
I guess the tin foil hat crowd will say he just wants us to do well so this loss won't look so bad but he could have said so many other things.
He really put the FSU game in perspective also.

Awesome! We beat Duke.
We hardly ever beat Duke and UNC out for BB players.
How P****d would we be if we were to drop a football game to someone we outrecruit.
Coach K is pretty classy in this interview. I hope they kill the Tarheels.
