There won’t be a lot of unknowns when the Tigers meet the Buckeyes. ACC Champion Clemson will face Ohio State in the College Football Playoff in the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl on December 31 in Glendale, Arizona. The contest will kickoff at 7:00 p.m. Eastern time on the New Year’s Eve date and will be televised by ESPN. Full Story » |

Kidding aside, most Clemson fans I know feel the same way about the very talented buckeyes and look forward to an exciting, and hard fought game.

Yes, we're loaded....but so is OSU.
Don't fall for the coaches speak.
On a different note, I know a lot of people don't like Meyer, but he's always been very complimentary to our school and program. His visit a commentator in 2011 really opened his eyes.

Professional approach by coach meyer...
Unlike mus-chumps crew who couldn't wait to open their mouths about how they were going to come up here and teach little brother a lesson.... We all saw how that one turned out... Humiliated & feather-less chickens left town that night.... LOL
Compliment the other team no matter how much you dislike them... Don't give the other team any bulletin board material that will give them even more incentive to want to rub your nose in it!

...one else would. Meyer between jobs was talking about recruiting Spiller. He couldn't understand why Spiller would come to Clemson over him. Until he took a trip to Clemson. He was blown away. The facilities, the fan base, the coaches, and so on and so on. Before we started our National run Meyer told the world to look out for this school. He was right. He then got the Ohio State job, tried to rob our staff away unsuccessfully. Lost to is in the Orange Bowl! But, he really has won my respect as a Clemson fan, and a football fan. I think he was eyeing the Clemson job at one point hoping Dabo would slip up. He sure spent an awful lot of time visiting for him not to be wanting it. Looking forward to a good game. Their defense should present a good challenge. Barrett will present enough mobility to give us nightmares. Meyer is smart enough to know we can't cover a tight end or a wheel route to exploit that to Death as well. I hope we can pull it out. We can't take our foot off the pedal like we did up 21 against Va Tech, or we will go home from Arizona early! Let's get the killer instinct & finish this year! Tampa or bust! 2016-17 National Champs! Go Tigers!

Meyer is not one to play games. He knows what he is up against. His team has failed to deal with a strong D-line or any kind of rush that stops the run. Barrett is not great when under pressure. Their defense is very good but they haven't come up against a Clemson.

During the year between Florida and OSU working for ESPN, he never had a negative thing to say about Clemson, many times disagreeing with other analyst's for Clemson.
