If we had the QB from the 4 teams we've played so far, we'd probably be 4-0. Even though the offense & defensive lines have been horrible, I still think we would of scored enough points to win those games. Are we a top 5 team like the pre-season predicted? Absolutely not! But, Clemson would still be good enough to beat these 4 teams. LSU is overated by the way. Cade Klubnik has been a disappointment for all 3 years. Yes, his stats looked impressive last year, but most of those TDs were thrown against inferior competition. Any team that had a pulse on defense, he didn't play well. Yes, I know he played ok in the 2nd half against Texas, but we only put up 14 points in that half! In both USuC games he's played in, he absolutely stunk it up! I hate it, but he just doesn't have the "it" factor and never will!

I have thought the same thing about inferior competition. If you notice in the hype videos, the majority of plays featured are against App State. Nothing against my hometown team but they dont have the guys to play with us (most of the time). Look back at the DW4 hype videos. He was making plays against real competition. Cade had one good game against Texas and we still lost.

It seems mental. He seems to be one of those QBs who’s sort of a head case.

He doesn’t seem to have that “it” factor as you say. Like he lacks that dog in him. He’s got the tools. More so than even a guy like Haynes King IMO.

BUT it’s all between the ears.

It's also because he has ZERO repercussions for stinking. He knows he's not coming out.

to leave while he can salvage this last year of eligibility. Regroup and find a new team, like DJ going out west. DJ made a mistake by coming back to the ACC.

If Cade stays, then he is putting everything into a comeback.
