a guy walks up and says “Go Tigers!” I was sporting the paw so I wasn’t surprised. He lives in Keowee Key and was on a river cruise. Small world.

CU used to have (maybe still do) a study abroad/engineering exchange program with Trier University. Knew a few people who spent a semester over there and enjoyed it very much.

Trier is a neat place that not many people visit. The old Roman ruins are a good history.

I was stationed at Spangdahlem AB about 30 minutes or so from Trier. Spent a lot of time there. Great little place.

That’s awesome!!! When we were in Greece, a young lady saw my hat with a Tiger Paw. She was a senior at Clemson with my son (at the time). There are Tigers everywhere in the world.

So far this trip has been fantastic. Staying at a 15 room hotel/B&B in a small village near Bernkastel-Kues on the Mosel River. Went to a couple of local wine festivals over the weekend, to Trier yesterday, and headed to Cochem today. Thursday we will move to a different small hotel closer to Mainz on the Rhine River for the upcoming weekend.
