Friday night, out to Mexican for supper then not a whole lot. Some sort of sickness really started coming on when when we got home. Took some Nyquil and slept pretty good.
Saturday, sickness peaked, bad nose, tight chest and really no energy. Nothing got accomplished, did see the Baseball boys try to overcome two terrible innings and get an inch away from doing it.
Sunday, felt much better. Got out in the shop and built two prototypes for future videos and this market I'm going to in May.

I went 4-0-1 in my matches, my team won $100, we had a great time.
Clemson went 0-1, which was a bummer.

0-1 since that was NOT a weekend happening for normal folks. I'm too tired though, so just imagine me giving you a hard time then telling you the baseball, softball, and gymnastics results.

Friday continued the never ending project of moving the wood working stuff to the shed, trying to fit it in and still be useable, and setting up the garage for metal work
Saturday yard work and the pre-pre colonoscopy diet of bland pale stuff
Sunday clear liquids and an evening of watery schyatt
Just finished final clear out and will head to the butt probe session around 9:30
Will do again butt hopefully not for 5 years or so.

So we picked up two of his friends and went to the lake.
We ate burgers, fished around the dock and set jugs at dark. We managed 8 cats on the jugs and about 10 other bass and crappie from the dock and fishing in the boat.
Got home and fried fresh fish for the boys for supper on Saturday.
Church yesterday morning, had friends over for pizza, kids learnt to roller skate, I worked on muh fishing stuffs.

Good Morning!
Not so bad. Getting a little excited about some property we might be able to purchase soon. Dogs got the cut and curl... and smell much nicer than they did. Got some little things taken care of that needed completion. Got a good night sleep last night.
All in all... pretty good!

Wednesday, drank whiskey and watched AEW.
Thursday, farewell dinner at Spice Asian Kitchen in Fort Mill for a co-worker. We got nice and toasty and had a blast, food was excellent.
Friday, Xtreme World Wrestling at Waxhaw Taphouse. A little chilly outside, but a good show and three hardcore matches. Had a blast.
Saturday, went to see Saliva play a free show at the grand re-opening event at the RH Harley Davidson dealership. I wasn't terribly familiar with their stuff aside from Click Click Boom and the song that Batista used in WWE. They put on a fantastic show and we were impressed with them.
Sunday, grocery run, worked on some tax stuff, cooked Mexican prok stew and stuffed jalapenos, and then watched a pretty cool movie called Sing Street. I'd never heard of it before but it was good watch, about a kid in Dublin who starts a band in the early 80s.
I think we'll grade this one at 18/19 due to being salty over Clemson's large brown 'L' on Thursday.

hit up Valley of Fire state park north of Vegas, very cool petroglyphs, rock scrambling, and a slot canyon
made our way to Springdale, UT, just outside of Zion, had some tasty brews at Zion Canyon Brew Pub while working on my 1065 for IRS and was able to get it in the mail!
got up early and hit Zion, walked up into the Narrows with nobody present until waders were needed, made it back to the Emerald pools with major crowds now, upper pool was pretty cool, walked the long way back to avoid everyone, saw lots of wild turkeys and deer, Zion is an amazing place
sat outside for some more brews, hit up Whiptail grill for some awesome mexican
woke up to rain/snow mix, drove the long way to south rim of the Grand Canyon, hit the rim trail and walked to have some drinks at El Tovar and Bright Angel lodge, walked the mile back to Yavapai in the dark with no lights but tons of amazing stars, made alot of noise so we wouldn't get eaten by mtn lions
got to the South Kaibab trailhead in the morning and walked 1.5 mi into the canyon about a 1200' drop, trail was icy and lots of people, chilled at Cedar Ridge for a bit and walked back up, seemed alot easier walking back up
took the trail toward the visitor center and ran into a herd of elk and deer, stood there forever just watching them, the young deer bucks were locking their racks together and stuff, pretty cool
finally walked away and minding our business a little ways down the trail and an elk steps onto our path, it was maybe 10' from us, froze for a second and backed up into some bushes behind us and waited, there were actually 2 huge females there and they snacked on the bushes for not sure how long but we were not ready to move, they finally decided to walk away and gave us the side eye on their way out, was an intense close one
after that encounter, did the bar crawl again starting at Yavapai and made it back to our room once again in the dark with tons of stars
next morning was going to stop in Flagstaff to watch the 1st half of the game but decided against it, was able to hear all 13 first half points on radio toward Vegas, tuned back in late in the game to hear us get it close, seriously, 13 points?!
checked in to the cheap Horseshoe and made it to the first of the 18 Dead & Co. shows at the Sphere, was blown away again by the sight and sounds, an amazing venue and awesome band, made it to the awesome 2nd night and was blown away again, those were our 2 shows for this year and hope to return again!
made it back to SC and watched the Sunday baseball comeback like we know how to do!
going to see Shovels and Rope in Athens on Thursday!

Yeah, add that to my plate now, sure, awesome idea.
Fri - pizza night explosion. We called local joint and just reserved the whole back room. 6 families. I think I counted 14 kids in total haha. Was madness yet fun.
Sat - Scokker. oldestDawghater scored a goal! We got waxed tho, they had this one chick that looked boutdamn 8 yrs old. And these rules for young kids....whodafuq thought of this MauldinT.
2 goals, coaches "throw" the ball in when it goes out to have continuous play? I don't get it. To the point, when I was there for the training and they were explaining the rules I raised my hand....
I said, sorry for the dumb question here, but is this how Brazil does youth soccer?
US Soccer teacher guy said, I'm not sure, why?
I said, well they have like 6 world cups to our zero. let's copy them.
US Soccer teacher man said, our priority is having fun.

Sat PM - sprayed weeds.
Sat night - anniversary dinner at the club
Sun mawn - walked to the park and splored around the lake w/ the chirren
Sun PM - cooked some steaks, hung out, prepped.
Loooooooong friggin week. miss you guys, no ####.

Short answer is: no Brazil doesn't do it that way

but Brazil has a huge pickup soccer culture like we did as kids with baseball and basketball. Because it's a "planned" activity in the US we have to over do everything.

Widespread Panic was amazing. I'm a Mikey person, but Jimmy Herring is worth the price of admission every time. He saved that band
Saw after party bands all 3 nights. Guavatron was pretty interesting out of Gainsville
Could definitely not party that hard on a full time basis
