He knows why he believes what he does, and he's well researched. Even if he's wrong and the other guy is right, he'll have better reasons for being wrong. So he's right a lot. I know he adopts that all knowing demeanor, but you can't get on radio by acting like you might be wrong. And he's fun with it, I think. The fact that he researches so well tells me he tries to find the most objective take.

The Paul Johnson thing got a little weird. I think he was right about Johnson's ability - he maybe knew more football than any coach in the league - but Walt couldn't seem to admit that Johnson was just hooked to the wrong wagon.
