Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney peered into the camera, a heavy rain streaming off of his hat, as Clemson fans pressed in around him, hoping to get a glimpse of their rain-drenched coach and hear what he had to say to the nation following the Tigers’ 24-22 victory over Notre Dame in early October. His statement would echo throughout the rest of the season.

The Louisville game was not a rhing of beauty but there was the undeniable fact that it was a toughed out win on the road , against a cornered 2 loss team that as it turned out wasn't all that bad .
I felt good about Notre Dame after that ACC tilt , although I knew our offense would need to play a better brand of football .

But after traveling to Louisville it set in that we had that extra something needed to win the big one.
More games followed to back it up....
Shoulda, woulda, coulda....won it all.
Lots of opportunities lost.
Great game, helluva exciting night & experience!
