Phil, One hellofa effort brother, ACC player of the week award!!!! and a sticker from the ESPN post game boys!! you need at least 25 carries a game!!! that will get this team going , let the opposing teams figure how to stop Phil and then give them a little dose of Ship and Brown, then go right back to Phil for another 25 carries..
Actually Ship needs to be a slot receiver, he has all the talent needed for this position, and would be a great fit after the Hunter Renfro era !!

Myself and a ton of fans have been asking for Mafah to be the real RB1 and this is exactly why. Why Dabo as a coach can't see that Phil is the better back is beyond me. He's more balanced, doesn't get tripped up by his own feet, takes more than an arm tackle to stop him and can run between the tackles like a bowling ball. I love Ship and his energy but Ship is an outside the hashes type runner and Phil is a true up the gut type back but there we are every wknd sending Ship up the gut for no gain twice in a row and ending up 3rd and long just about every series. Hope this game changes that now. Congrats Phil! You deserve it!!

Some of us knew he had it in him all along. I wasn't extremely vocal about it because there is a reason Dabo kept him in second chair.

Love Phil Mafah. In my opinion he’s our #1 weapon on offense and is an absolute beast. I hope Dabo continues to run him down defenses’ throats.

So proud of this team the OL and Mafah. Mafah you were lights out as well as the defense. So proud of you guys rising to the task. Now lets go get 167 for coach. He has been our coach and unlike so many most of our fans are great people who love this team. Those who grumble are usually new fans that loves just success but haven't seen the great, the bad and sometimes the ugly, like fans who have been there through it all. Those fans who came and realize that sometimes teams have bad years and still stay they are your true fans, They may grumble but never try to hurt the team, recruiting or insult our team, our coaches, players or anyone connected to the program. I have been around this program since Coach Howard, like Coach Howard, Coach Swinney speaks his mind. If anyone of you never heard Coach Howard, he spoke plain and hard at times. I am proud of Coach Swinney for taking the heat week after week and never letting it break his resolve to get Clemson back on top. For all the criticism I know we who are Christians have been praying God to give him strength to withstand his enemies and not let it take him down. Go Tigers lets go get another one for yourselves as well as coach. You guys can do it, one game at a time. Beat GT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
