Is it okay that I'm voting mostly so I can complain about stuff?

Many years ago I lost respect for people that complain but never voted.

It's every American's right to be able to complain

I don't think that is in the bill of rights. Even if it is, I don't have

Well, 3 decades into this voting thing and every vote I've made

And I'm still complaining about the same stuff. I think everyone should vote in primaries. I think EVERY STATE SHOULD HOST A PRIMARY, FOR BOTH PARTIES, NO MATTER WHAT OR WHO IS RUNNING.

But anyway.....every primary vote I've made has lost. And that always leaves a general election vote I'm not happy with. Neither Trump nor Harris will save America. Neither will fix our problems. Trump had 4 years and we're still having THE SAME PROBLEMS WE HAD WITH BIDENTRUMPOBAMAGWBCLINTONGHWBREAGAN.

And every year my primary votes for Congress are NEVER an incumbent. And ALWAYS an incumbent wins. I've been voting against Lindsey Graham forever, nothing changes.

We will just get what we deserve. A vote is only wasted when the you think one of the two options will fix one of many 3-decade old problems. Doesn't really matter anymore.

And I will keep complaining, and keep voting, until the wheels fall off. Not if the wheels fall off, WHEN they fall off. And then I will have spent a lifetime in a voting booth accomplishing nothing.

Our main problem is COngress. Plain and simple. And no president can fix what's broken on Capitol Hill.

I'm a little older than you, so I came to this conclusion about 2 presidential

cycles ago.

And it's partially why usually, I just abstain from voting. I remember one year I voted against Lindsey Graham twice; (Once in Primary, once in the general); didn't matter. The last time I voted, Obama won the first time.

I've won $4 in the lottery more times than I the candidate I voted for has won.

Besides, in SC, this stuff is already chosen before I even go to the polls. It's jut not worth my time, really.

and it feels so good.

it's inevitable w/ every daycare plague. I just rip all the cold meds in the cupboard like stubborn_tiger circa 2018 in the 5 points stalls, and then I pay for it w/ a) feeling like dogshid and b) waterfall diarrhea for 3 or 4 days.
