Sorry but the sec is mediocre. Outside of Georgia and Texas Clemson would have been in about every game with a chance to win it. I’m sorry I just don’t get the SEC hype

All of these people stating confidently how one team would do in another conference are hot takes. There is no way to prove/disprove these posts. There only way to settle it is on the field.
If we were in the SEC we would not have opened with Georgia on a “neutral” field, but would likely have still lost
If we were in the SEC we would DEFINITELY have not lost to Louisville

agree with you 100 percent. we cannot predict if we can beat the mediocre acc teams each week, you can't predict how these kids play from week to week, if we don't stop the run against the coots , we are in for along day and if we do, sellers is probably the best qb mobile wise clemson has faced all year. the kid can run and he will throw the ball to receivers just when you think you got him bottled up.. got to make sure we can keep him rattled all game,, and hope Clemson's offense is on fire next saturday if not coots get bragging rights

If we were in the SEC we would get a lot more of the recruits we haven’t been getting the last 3 years and we would be splashing around in another $50M or so in revenue. Nobody in that conference wants to see us compete on a level playing field.

some people are just ignorant and wear orange colored glasses and can't see the issues the tigers have. we can't stop the run against the citadel, how the #### would we stop the run against sec teams would 375 lb lineman pushing our butts all over the field.. you have to be smart and realize our team hasn't been good on run stoppage. i pray we stop the coots next saturday because they are playing pretty consistent right now..

Impossible to judge. I agree sec is not as great as everyone is trying to say, but casual observation is that all their topteams look more competent than we haveweek in week out.
