I dont what Ian will receive as a consequence

Edit: I am thankful that Ian and anyone involved ended up safe. Everybody loves Ian. And this is a youthful mistake. This takes nothing away from his Clemson legacy.
Original post:
But watch this situation play out, Dabo will do exactly what is right and needed for Ian. Wh at ever it’s going to be, Dabo will handle it how it should be

There was much angst here last year about Etienne's DUI and how Kirby would never sit him for the Clemson game. As if Kirby was going to need Etienne to beat Clemson. Kirby sat his best RB, Etienne, for the entire Clemson game.
On behalf of Kirby, thank you for the note.

My principle: I will never hold a coach responsible for the actions of a player

I will hold the coach responsible for his actions in response.
If you are happy with the way Kirby has handled the myriad of moving vehicle infractions by UGA football players, I'm not gonna try and change your mind.

I'm not the one who decided to drag Kirby Smart into this. The facts are, Kirby Smart sat his best RB for the Clemson game as punishment. Since we have yet to see what Dabo will do with this incident, it may be a bit premature to ask anyone to "take notes" on it.

I will be shocked if Ian is on the field at all vs LSU. If he was in good graces he could have possibly come in for some type of gadget play, but not now. Troy might be another matter since he would possibly be coming in during garbage time, but I doubt that also. Might be till the 4th game till he comes in at all.

UGA 100% gets away with murder. The fact that they benched ET for our game was shocking but with that being said excuse our Orange colored glasses fans. Let’s be real.. allowing the chief onto the team was throwing him a bone. He was never expected to do anything other than catch a 1 singular TD against a scrub.

Really only talking about the morality of it, you know? No you probably don’t you have the Georgia mentality too.
And since you’re being snotty, enjoy Clemson’s rise back up. More trophies coming for Dabo! 😁

You brought up on the field results while talking about suspensions, as if that were even the point. Clearly a Georgia fan.
You act as if Trevor Etienne’s suspension overcomes everything else before that.
I remember seeing where Georgia had players in the Athens P.D. almost every week. Probably still do. Those years before etienne. He’s let numerous things slide on by, and it absolutely has an effect.

Yeah because we all know Dabo and Kirby have the same approach to discipline. 🙄
So rich to see a dawg fan try to speak on another program’s player behavior.

I was unaware Clemson had 30+ driving related arrests in the past 4 years, including a player and staffer dying

Ian was a model student-athlete for the four years he was on the basketball team.
Dabo is a great coach and I’m sure he will learn from this. Ian will too.

we have no proof Brownell wasn't sweeping stiff like this under the rug. I think a full investigation is warranted, both by the AD, and the NCAA.

I agree.
Ian’s a great young guy that will do great things, he just needs to ground himself and realize that this world is unforgiving. And to worry about the danger you put others in. And how things easily could’ve been way worse.
Ian, and everyone else is lucky nothing was worse. And I’m grateful he and all are safe.
