From the Stub Hub Site:
South Carolina Gamecocks Football tickets

South Carolina Gamecocks Football Schedule

The University of South Carolina is an athletic powerhouse, punching out some of the most dominant teams in Southeastern Conference of the NCAA in more sports than one. When it comes to college football, the South Carolina Gamecocks are a perennial big player in the SEC, and the Gamecocks schedule is always packed full of big games against SEC rivals like the Ole Miss Rebels, Alabama Crimson Tide, Auburn Tigers, LSU Tigers, Florida Gators and Kentucky Wildcats. With such big teams parading around the SEC, it's no wonder why tickets are such a hot commodity whenever conference competitors show up to the Williams-Brice Stadium on the South Carolina campus for big matchups against the Gamecocks. South Carolina football fans flock to the '#### Pit' for home games, and there are more than a few highly anticipated games on the schedule this season!

South Carolina Gamecocks Football Conference

As part of the powerhouse Southeastern Conference, the South Carolina Gamecocks have their work cut out for them every single year when football season rolls around. The Gamecocks have been part of the SEC for decades, and have last took home the SEC East title in 2010, when the Gamecocks took down No. 1-ranked Alabama as well as Florida for the win. Since 1992, the SEC has been split into two divisions, with South Carolina competing in the Eastern Division alongside the Florida Gators, Georgia Bulldogs, Kentucky Wildcats, Tennessee Volunteers, Missouri Tigers and Vanderbilt Commodores. The Gamecocks' winning streak dates back to the 1930s, when the South Carolina football team became Southern Conference Champions for the first time in 1933, and the wins keep stacking up for the South Carolina football squad. Come out to an upcoming home football game at the Williams-Brice Stadium to cheer on the Gamecocks to another big victory this season.

South Carolina Gamecocks Football Rivalries

The South Carolina Gamecocks have absolutely no shortage of rivals thanks to their involvement in the Southeastern Conference, although there are a few teams that bring even more fans flocking to the football stadium than others. The Clemson Tigers are undoubtedly the Gamecocks' biggest rivals on the football field, and the teams have been battling each other on the turf annually since 1896. When the Gamecocks and Tigers square off, the resulting matchup is known as The Palmetto Bowl in the SEC, and the game is most always televised nationally. The Gamecocks are also big rivals of the Georgia Bulldogs and Florida Gators, which are also SEC Eastern powerhouses. Regardless of the conference matchup, the South Carolina Gamecocks always have their A-game on tap when Southeastern Conference teams come knocking.

South Carolina Gamecocks Football Tournament History

Where NCAA has the Big Dance in college basketball, so it also has bowl games in NCAA football. There are tons of bowl games to get excited about during the holiday season, and especially when the South Carolina Gamecocks are involved. Aside from division titles, which the Gamecocks took home most recently in 2010, the team has also amassed 18 bowl appearances, including multiple berths in the Gator Bowl, Liberty Bowl and Outback Bowl. The Gamecocks' most recent wins have been in 2006 at the Liberty Bowl over Houston, 2012 in the Capital One Bowl over Nebraska, and 2013 in the Outback Bowl over Michigan. In divisional championships, the Gamecocks have been a strong competitor in the SEC East, making it to the Eastern conference in 2010 but losing to Auburn for the title.

its difficult not to enjoy a good laugh during and after reading it. They may have beaten the Tigers 5 years in a row, but the manure is so thick in that promo piece you could spread it like peanut butter.

And to think, just a few years ago, pretty much all they ever bragged about was the crowd size in W-B in the midst of that 0-21 stretch......lol. Oh, well
