Due to the success of football recruiting, basketball and baseball in general, I spend more time on message boards than I used to.
I spend most my time on the Tigerillustrated message board and check in here once or twice a day. The difference between the two message boards is strange. Over there it’s more of a one Clemson mindset. Over here it’s football vs basketball. I just gotta ask WTH is wrong with y’all?

It makes no sense at all. The interactions between Coach Brownell and Coach Swinney, you can tell they’re fans of one another. I could be off but I doubt there’s as much camaraderie amongst coaches like there is in Clemson. You can’t fake the interactions of Dabo, Bakich, and Leggette in the dugout vs Scar. You can’t fake the genuine happiness of Brad when he walked past Dabo and Kathleen a few weeks ago. Clemson is a special place and some need to embrace the rarity of it.
There’s something special in those hills ain’t just a saying.

Look I love football as much as anyone on this board I truly do. However it's still BASKETBALL SEASON and that is where my primary interest lies right now ! After that I will concentrate on baseball and softball and AFTER that Football. Im not interested in football recruiting etc right now. Thats up to the coaches. If you are that's your choice . I think it's a lil " over the top" but that's your deaL.

Nope he got raked over the coals big time after the Scar game. It was similar to how the posters over there raked Brad after the loss to BC in the ACC tournament last year. The criticism of both is balanced over there.
At the same time credit has been given to Brad having the season we’ve had post PJ and Girard, equally to Dabo’s hires and adjustments to player acquisition.

To add to this there’s more than just smoke that Brad could go to Indiana. In the end I think the Clemson way will make him stay and not leave for his dream job.
Can’t say enough for Graham Neff. He’s by far the greatest AD we’ve ever had.

I haven’t lived as long as many on here but how much is that really saying? Love some things Neff is doing early in his tenure, however, Most of what I’ve heard on past ADs is far from an honorable mention.

Neff was hard core in the GOR settlement. I’ve been told some people just have it, but he doesn’t just have it, he was born with it. We will be extremely lucky to have him more than 5 years from now.

On Tnet there are a couple of poasters who continually stir that pot and keep things on edge. It seems some folks are never happy unless they knock one sport and its coach while uplifting their favorite sport and coach, mostly unjustified. It is a game with some people. I have no idea why?
