Here it's grilled chicken thighs, green beans, y sweet taters. Early lunch, up early, did not breakfast.
Also, chicken thighs are the most superior chicken part to eat. Wings are a close second. Anyone want to argue about how much better thighs are than breastisis?

buy chicken thighs? You need to be out here saying how they are the WORST! Drive people away from thighs and wings to breasts and drums. Make that demand go up, make thigh demand go down!

#1 - thighs for any style but fried #2 - legs for fried
#3 - breast meat for stir fry, soup, etc.
Wings are scraps. Wing hype was all started as propaganda to sell the cheapest cut. Any food that leaves more on your plate than in your belly is a waste of time.
There I said it.

to wife thinking the dark meat is gross (lol) and I season and baked them and they were delicious and rubbery at the same time. No clue if I got a bad boneless thigh or something but that has never happened with the breasteses, not once. Well, except the time wife preheated oven for cookies when my dinner was in the oven waiting on me to get home and my chicken became a plank.
Grilled thighs might be the ticket, but the baked ones were shiddy.

Were they skinless and/or boneless?

How long you cook and at what temp.
One of the beauties of thighs is they are VERY forgiving to cook, far moreso than breasts.
Hint: You want to bring them to a higher temp that breasts. Like 20-30 degrees higher.

leftover roasted taters with veggies and an egg on top. I did make some pretty bangin' soup to combat the cold weather last night. I've found that Alton Brown's potato leek soup recipe is a good base to add other things to, so this ended up being yeller potatoes, leeks, mushrooms, roasted butternut squash and roasted sweet taters, and a coupla Hatch chiles. Topped with some sharp cheddar, bacon, and a lil sour crema/lemon juice for some acid. That's what I'm TALKIN' about, broseph.

I didn't bring lunch so I'm likely going to get some chicken soup from the Mexican place down the street.

I still like a breast that's been marinated better. Dark meat just tastes dirty sometimes.
