mangey tailgate question

thinking of moving tailgate spots, currently near a building where we usually tap into the guest wifi to stream tv's.
With our kids graduating, thinking about moving closer to stadium to tailgate near some friends, but will have to stream with phone hot spots. Will I be for the dissapoint?

My Verizon isn't capable of streaming on my phone at pretty much all of our past tailgate locations.
T-mobile was pretty solid this year though. Nothing is going to beat the wifi except an antenna in a good location (Lot2) and that obviously limits your channel selections. Then there is the $600 option of using Dish.

where we at, can spread out, free electricity (if we get there to plug in first) and wifi, but we are a ways from others etc. gonna be different now that we don't have 20 of the kids friends coming by.
we actually looking at lot 2, over the air antenna works? I'm guessing fox, cbs?? I know not espn

on, 1 or 2 were decent over the antenna.
You could ask the mange if they use AT&T hotspot on lot 2 or anywhere else since there are more of them over there??

I say, go out and get you a brand new vehicle that has WiFi capabilities. I never used it on my truck, and have no idea how well it works once 100k get to Clemson, but worth a shot.

This was 3-4 years ago, so it may have changed. It wasn't bad, but it was best for email / texts. I remember trying to watch a youtube video on it once and it buffered a fair amount. They may have improved it, because at the time there was no unlimited plan. I think I used up my free 3 Gb or 5Gb or whatever it was in about 2 weeks streaming Sirius on it

I think I'd get more use from a very quiet generator. Which still..won't be much. I have a Westinghouse version of that generator and I crank kit up about 4x a year just to keep the carb from gumming up.

I tried it with a mobile hotspot I bought specifically for the 2022 NC State game and YouTube TV. We were in Lot 5.
It worked okay for the noon game. But after that, you were fighting every other mobile device at the game so it was impossible to stream.
