Somewhere, somehow, sometime, just a few years ago, Clemson Football became all about $$$$ and the fans became a secondary consideration. Thus, increased fees, added unnecessary frills which make no difference in the outcome of games, decreased parking access for even the top donors. Things have changed and I am afraid they will never be the same. Welcome to the world of big time college football.

Success attracts new fans. But it also attracts grifters - professionals who know how to milk every last dollar out of a spectacle and, like the swarm of locusts, strip it bare of all that is good and then move on to the next big thing.
