Surely he will correct whatever he is doing wrong and he will get it right. No giving up on him, support him and he will win a game for us ????

I think it's more then confidence. His form is not going to change over night. If you watch his hips and shoulders you can see that the kick is going to be pulled. I'd love him to prove me wrong, but I just don't see it. As others have said he's been here 4 years( redshirt jr)and was beaten out by Huegel and the staff had already made plans to bring in a scholarship kicker next year even with him still having eligibility. I'm betting they start to get Gnomes(sic?) ready because during the 4th quarter last night WS was working on the sideline getting the hold down for a left footed kicker.

scholarship out of high school, is a red-shirt junior, and his only PT has been due to an injury. We either discard the FG game completely the rest of the season, or find someone with consistency from less than 40 yards. It's a given that our place kicking will not be stellar, but I am hoping that there is someone on the team that can be dependable on relatively short FGs.

Well we all knew it was going to cost us a game we just didn't know it be that one. I mean if he makes those two very makeable less than 40 yard field goals we win the game
