Midterms, and in 2028. That is if Trump doesn't appoint himself king, or start a revolution, uprising, or something worse.
Irony, of all the power plays Trump loves to do, many of which are unconstitutional, he hasn't mentioned a peep about the one power play he could make, that would be constitutional, that would do the most to help America in the future.
Our parties also need to so some serious self-examination. Because they're complicit in all of this. Leadership in this country is attracting the worst types of people, FROM BOTH PARTIES. And what's worse, they immediately gain staying power when elected. This just compounds the "bad" for our country, long term.
Only the 50 states can save our nation. They created it (13 anyway), and only they have the power to fix the biggest problem we have. CONGRESS. The whole reason we have Trump, and have him in a position capable of destroying the economy, is due to CONGRESS not doing its job, for decades now. Illegal immigration? Would be an issue if Congress did its job. Debt, wouldn't be a problem if Congress did its job. Tariffs, wouldn't even be in the conversation right now, if Congress did its job.

I look forward to the day when she just fades away, and is just randomly heard from as a bad realtor on Daniel Island.

She's got some demons and has held them under control up until a few months ago. My opinion is she needs to worry about herself before she goes after some career ruining run for governor, and the rest of her past comes out in the public.
I don't even know that much about Wilson, but I can respect him especially after the Murdaugh thing.
He's certainly a 100% better choice for governor than she is.

a good friend has been involved over the years with Harbor Entrepreneur Center. These guys: https://harborec.com/
He's seen and interacted enough with the guys who founded it, one of whom is her ex-fiance, that he believes what she's accusing them of. These guys have an absolute power trip over young entrepreneurs because of the success of this accelerator they've created, and they very likely flex it over young women involved in the program in the form of coercion and potentially even the drugging/raping that Mace is accusing them of. Friend made the conscious choice the first time he met these guys to keep a healthy distance between them, and he's turned down opportunities to do business with them.
He also thinks Mace is worthless, fwiw, but he legit believes what she's saying about these guys.

And there is the recent study done at Rutgers that showed nearly half of "left of center" voters think an assassination of Trump or Elon is justified, and most regret that the attempt was not successful. Discounting the methodology and definitions by half, that's a weird outcome. I am sure some callers to her office sound evil.

with the tariff stuff killing their 401Ks especially after all her talk of how scared she was after Jan 6, how since he is a sexual criminal, and she keeps saying people are attacking her.
During the SOU address she was running around like a giddy school girl fawning over Trump. It was embarrassing.

I'd bet it's at least 80% of people wondering why she is backing tariffs and Trump. I'm sure there are some saying out of turn stuff about her personally, but I bet its not near what she is saying it is. It wouldn't be hard for her to back that up with actual proof, but she won't ever do that.
She wouldn't attend an invitation a few weeks ago to defend herself publicly on whatever topic she wanted to. If she was legit scared of her personal safety as she has said, body guards are cheap--and probably tax deductible for her. And the cops have to be there. Besides, no one on either side of her voting block is going to put up with political violence around here.
If she is strong enough to choose stupid policy and political positions, she should be strong enough to defend those positions. She's not.

Could be. What i do know is that 80% of political discussions go like this:
I'm glad we got control of the border.
I hate Trump.
I'm glad we're finally tracking down those 300k missing kids.
I hate Trump.
I'm glad somebody is telling Iran the mideast is not their playground.
I hate Trump.
I'm glad somebody is trying to cut spending.
I hate Trump.
I'm glad somebody is preventing men from playing in women's ncaa sports.
I hate Trump.
I'm glad somebody is trying to facilitate free international trade.
I hate Trump.
No alternatives. Just 'I hate Trump'. We see the only motivator of the left. A poll says half of them think its okay to assassinate him. And they do not seem to be embarrassed by that.
