This is related to the ACC’s filing to have the FSU’s case dismissed in Florida. I believe it’s buried within their legal arguments. If you go on X search for RohanLaw, he’s dissecting the court submissions.

Actually Genetics56 has been covering the realignment for couple years. He’s assembled some good data/arguments about the motivations of the Big10 and Fox. I’m not saying he knows insider info, but he’s provided good insights on the bigger picture of how realignment has evolved. I have found he’s been a good source of information.

I live in CLT where the ACC is based and one of the lawsuits was filed; no one in the media in the entire state has any story about a settlement. FSU has a huge media following and national attention, and again none of those people are reporting it. So again why would believe this B1G blogger over all of the people who make their livings off of covering the ACC?

He’s a narcissistic clown with delusions of grandeur. He scans for tidbits of realignment news and then basically writes fan fiction scenarios based on his desire for the BIG to rule the world. He wants FSU in the BIG. He talks about the movers and shakers in college athletics who follow him and he foolishly believes he is influential in realignment. He is good for some entertainment, but not much else.

The elephant in the room is "at what price". The price could ne something exorbitant such as the expected media revenue for the next 5, 10 or more years.

That number would be unattainable and I would assume they would be in the red for many, many years. Guess you would have to weigh your options but I don’t see it.

When a reasonable man (person if you're PC) has a commodity which isn't for sale he says no with a number. I once priced a 12 aluminum jonboat for $6000. A guy saw it in the side yard and stopped to see if I would sell it.
I said no and he told me everything is for sale. I said OK and named my price. He said I can buy a really nice boat for less than that. I said that's exactly what you should do, my boat isn't for sale.
So yeah, there's a price that the ACC wouldn't turn down because the final deal has to be approved by a 75%, I think, majority of member schools. I'd think a $5 mil/each offer might change some minds. If not, $10 mil would do it for sure.
