Prayers to any Russians injured in the drone attacks on those air bases. Totally uncalled for. Those men and those bombers were peacefully minding their own business deep inside Russia. What kind of animals would do something like that?

A lot of guesses. A little second-hand and third-hand info on the intelligence (more second-hand info - Ukraine has tested out all sorts of new weapons platforms in this war, and the US military now has a load of data to use in deciding to procure them or not) . The tattoos are so widely identified as white supremacist, that you certainly wouldn't choose to get them unintentionally. They are obscure symbols of the crusades. Any decent tattoo artist would have warned him, "now just so you are aware of the possible implications ..." The tattoos were enough for the National Guard to take him off the security mission leading up to the Jan 2021 inauguration (while Trump was still present, I reminds you).

Ukraine can obviously have tremendous success without America. They may be able to beat Russia without America.
Maybe it takes six more months and 10,000 more lives with America’s help.
Maybe it takes two more years and 100,000 more lives without America’s help.
That’s the sort of calculus that Americans used to care about. Before a section of us rallied around Captain “What’s in it for me”. It’s certainly something Ukraine’s President cares about. Because he’s a leader. Not a self-promoting “Deal Maker”.

We did help the rebels a lot. Stingers were quite effective. However, in the process we helped set up the madrasses that indoctrinated so many radicals (CIA printed the books for them), resulting in the Taliban and Al Qaeda. Reagan and Bush did as much damage to the middle east as Israel.

Did you read the memorandum that Russia presented at the recent Istanbul meeting? It is effectively “surrender”. They have not come an inch away from the original maximalist demands.
Meanwhile Russia continues to conduct cyberattacks and social disruption campaigns throughout the world. Align itself with the worst players in the world.
Victory for them does not end this, it just emboldens them and their allies. Victory for them guarantees future war. Defeat for Russia is really the only way to end this constant threat.
