These are the same fans that point to a 10 win season while being in the ACC as proof we are still elite. They completely ignore the fact we havent beaten but one above average team in 3 years. Orange colored glasses to the max.

I think this D can absolutely develop to be a lockdown unit by end of year. Right now, I'm seeing growing pains of a new DC and the team thinking a lot and being overly aggressive.

It's a mixed bag if we look at reality for sure. OCs are going to keep hitting us with quick throws and counters until we stop it.

Overall, I was expecting us with our experience to be more good than bad but bend don't break is frustrating sometimes and I think we're just seeing the bending + breaking more than we want early.

Potential is high for the D though and if we can develop it over the course of the season they can be championship level by the CFP if we make it.
