and the coaches “ All In” support and a lot of encouragement for the next five games. Let’s see what weeks of being a real Clemson Fan backing the program with as much positivity and enthusiasm as we can.
It could have a positive affect on the future of Clemson Football. Win or lose let’s be Class Fans.
A positive attitude may have a positive affect on recruiting, portal transfers, more energy from the coaching staff and the players. Stay for the entire game let’s show Clemson Football “ We Believe in Their Success “
If Clemson Fans Believe in Dabo, his Coaching Staff and the Players it could be some of what’s been missing. Fire up Death Valley and try to fill away game stands with Orange.
It could make a difference in turning the program around. We may be happily with the results.

I will be in the stands, cheering for the team. I have never booed the team and never will. Where I draw the line is allowing Dabo talk down to the fans like nothing is wrong. I hope that he can fix the issues because this is not the time for Clemson football to struggle. Unequal revenue sharing and 2030 conference realignment are a reality. Dabo does not have several years to fix the problem. He needs to have the problems fixed by the August kickoff at LSU. If this team is not drastically different by the 2026 season, Dabo needs to go. I love Clemson and want the best for the school. In the current t environment, Dabo does not have time on his side. No elite football school would allow him next year to coach. He has earned the right from past performance to have the opportunity to fix the issues. He does not have unlimited time to do it because of the upcoming changes to college football.

I haven’t seen any evidence of what the coaches actually “know” ? A lot of friends and family on the gravy train, with lame excuses and promises. The “If Clemson is tired of winning, I’ll leave” (I’ll take my ball and go home) didn’t age too well… and the press conferences now make the headlines for being comedic .. as for winning in the past - that page has turned. Show us ..quit talking about a few plays here and there.. Fix it ..

Dabo is human to and makes mistakes. I am sure I would like to have that comment back. I am sure he feels the fans disappointment and frustration. This is a situation that he is learning to work through. He has to deal with this everyday.
Put yourself in Dabo’s place. How would you handle this kind of pressure at you Job ???
Based on his past success, I feel sure Dabo is struggling with this disappointing season. I sure he feels like he failed by missing out on top recruits that he used to bring in. All He$$ has be created since the implementation of NIL, the TP and Revenue Sharing.
This has caused much uncertainty and Chaos in today’s so called college football. This Chaos has had a negative impact on other programs who were successful in the last decade from 2010 to 2020.
Those coaches with integrity, honesty and character that are trying to get through this Chaos the right way may need more time. Unfortunately, we live in a “what have you done for me lately world”
Schools like FSU, LSU , Florida, Kentucky, USC, even UGA and other big name schools with money are struggling to get through this chaotic uncertainty in (pay for play) college football.
It will be interesting to see how basketball season plays out this season.
Based on increasing coaches salaries and higher buyouts, players getting paid, revenue sharing and future demands from the players. IMO programs should give careful thought before making coaching changes. I believe Penn State will regret pulling a quick trigger on James Franklin.

Honestly, I thought CJ Spiller would have been more successful recruiting RB’s. I don’t know if it’s lack of experience or NIL 💰💰💰💰💰💰 or both.
Either way I wish CJ much success in the future. As far as Dabo’s son I have a comment. Many fathers have hired their sons or daughters. I don’t think Dabo should be judged harshly for that hire.
Let’s be “All In” the rest on this season and give Dabo time to fix the problems. With positive fan support I believe we can bounce back much sooner. Show recruits why Clemson is special. IMO our Great Fan Base is a great recruiting tool.

No more moving the goalposts. Ultimatum by the AD/powers that be at the end of the year to Dabo and require a detailed plan to “get back to elite”. If it doesn’t align and/or Dabo refuses to “abide by the new era CFB rules” then agree to part ways, if he’s on board to “do what it takes” then great. Let’s see it. I hate the portal and NIL too but it is what it is.
Several of us have been calling for Dabo to change his approach to this program for FIVE YEARS. Those of us educated football fans called this from MILES away.
Dabo needs to agree to fix it…..or retire and move on.

We have only been an elite program under Dabo’s tenure. What do you consider Elite or success from Dabo or another HC ??? Now many want to get rid of the most successful HC in Clemson History 😙😔☹️
The OP indicated Clemson had historically one of the Elite Programs. Look back at every decade of Clemson Football. We have had one decade of being an Elite Program.
With all the Changes in college football does Clemson have the resources to compete every year with programs considered Elite ???
Or has parity finally caught up with college athletics ???

You’re a blind cheerleader. Used to run into you guys in Iptay and booster meetings. “You’re not Clemson if you don’t support (input name here!)” It’s funny, once the donations stopped coming in and the AD made moves they were always the first ones to say “Great job leading the charge getting (insert name here) replaced!” They were usually blue bloods clutching their pearls. How dare you speak the truth about Clemson?! SMH. If he was your 401k guy, he’d be fired.

I would challenge you to find a fan base that has been more positive with with the support, amount of cheeering, and percentage disposable income contributed to the program then the Clemson fan base.
It has gotten us a program that's been in decline for years, a losing record this year, and multiple lectures and insults from its head coach. Despite it all, we still show up on Saturdays and we always cheer for Clemson to win. We can be critical of the flaws because we've identified problems and want them to improve. The positivity hasn't helped, so maybe a hot seat will.

Unfortunately true. If this was any other major program, I'm not sure Dabo sticks around with the abysmal offenses and now no defense too. This is where us being in the lowly ACC has benefited us these last few years.
I am still not giving up on Dabo though. I'll always support Clemson, win or lose. I am tired of losing though but even after the SMU game, I threw that Clemson shirt back on and went back out into public.

1) Program in decline - agree
2) Identified Problems - Dabo has replaced Offensive Coordinator, Offensive Line coach, Defensive Coordinator and a number of other position coaches. Now, where do we go? What is our problem?
3) Recruiting - I truly don't believe there is a much better recruiter out there than Dabo - competing against $$ with schools without a salary cap. The evolution of College Football and lack of rules when it comes to boosters/pay for play puts Clemson at a real disadvantage.
4) Transfer Portal - along with #3, Clemson had (and potentially still has) once of the best brands in college football; the years that the whole country knew that either Alabama or Clemson will win the CFP could have been used in the early years of the transfer portal. Even though we don't have the deep pockets like Texas teams, Miami, Ohio State, Michigan to buy the best players, Dabo could have recruited based on "College National Championship" and "First Round Draft Pick" - money will come.
5) Stubborn - I have always been a supporters of the high school recruiting process. I thought that this would be the year that Dabo would prove naysayers wrong and win the "old fashion" way of developing players by recruiting out of high school. It's sad, but it's clear college football will never by what it once was. As one poster stated several days ago, I'm starting to like NFL (always hated compared to College Football)
6) Final Observation - Things are different; Dabo needs to adapt or be left in the dust. Transfer portal recruiting will be required. Vandy and Indian each had 20+ transfer portal additions. Granted, this year has been crazy (Texas, Penn State, Clemson, etc) - we must adapt if we are going to compete in this new format that they call "College Football"

You’re not part of the team. Yelling louder isn’t going to make the O-line finally figure out how to block. Especially if you’re at home watching on tv.
Face it, fans are observers, likely swilling a beverage and shoveling chips into their mouths. That’s it.

I will be at all of the remaining home games. Season tickets, parking, and Iptay donations are too expensive just to give up. As far as next year goes, I can't make any promises. I will continue my Iptay donation but unless drastic changes are made I will not renew parking or Season tickets.

I think you would see a lot more of that if there was a lot more transparency from Dabo
Yeah, you could say that the fans aren’t owed anything. Dabo doesn’t have to explain anything yada yada. But when we’ve heard nothing but positive things about the program this year while it clearly has problems. It makes us not trust or have faith in what they’re doing. I think if he were to be open and honest with us about the problems. And not try to sugarcoat anything. You would see a lot more fans just be like you know what Dabo I understand. We got your back. Thanks for the honesty.
Instead, he’s almost blatantly lied to us. I feel that his pride is blinding him. So I don’t think you’re gonna see that kind of support until he comes out and admits some of the major problems and a promise to make big changes. Doesn’t have to go into detail of the exact changes but hopefully it will include transfer portal and NIL.
Unfortunately while he’s digging his heels in and being stubborn about how he wants to run the program the way he’s always done it I can’t just blindly support that while the program slips back to the basement of CFB.

Dabo lost this chance we he ranted on fans for not liking the sorry assed product he put on the field and blamed the fans. Best is no longer the standard , its just a vehicle for him now to steal 11 mil per year from Clemson and set up kids and friends with jobs . The fact that we wasted a needed scholarship on his son should be all fans need to know. That is just criminal.
