It’s the opener, both teams are hungry, and players on both sides are eager to hit someone from another team. It’s been a long offseason of hard work and preparation.
We are both top 5 in talent level according to the recent Rivals ranking, so we have elite players on both sides with NFL aspirations.
Both programs have had high level success, and both schools have invested heavily in their coaching staffs. On paper, this should come down to one possession. The details will matter, and one or two big plays could decide the outcome.
Let’s do this! Go Tigers!

This game will just expose how far away we are from being elite again. The lack of depth and lack of elite athletes will be on display.

Kirby has purchased many more 5 stars to sit on the bench than Clemson and is the number one team . If we keep it within 10 I will be happy and believe we will have a great season .
You on the other hand will get on here and slide in negativity on Dabo .

Alabama had more blue chippers in there 2 deep every time Clemson played them.
This Tigers team is NOT devoid of talent or depth. Rb and Lb might be the only legitimate depth concerns.

We have recruited well. Georgia has recruited much better. One possession is pushing it. No telling what happens though. I think if we win we win by three. I could also see us losing by ten. Looking forward to watching it all shake out.

This season rests solely on how much Cade is improved… during the Watson TL eras that was the position we had no worries about but rather what was around them… example the 20 season when TL really didn’t have a very good wr core as far as Clemson standards go. We still have talent all over the field but we need some of these wr to step up and Cade has to show he’s improved and if we take care of the ball we will have a great year. Take away the crazy turnovers that lead directly to points last year and the early missed fgs bc we didn’t have a kicker, and that’s prob a 10-11 win team easily last year . We aren’t as far off as most think we just need better qb play, simple as that

We are facing another David vs. Goliath situation, just like we did in
Tampa with Alabama. Tampa was truly a neutral site, though.
