Clemson goes into this game with nothing to lose. All of the pressure is on Georgia to blow Clemson out. If not, I can see them pressing, especially if the players have bought in to the Clemson is done mentality.

It's a 1st game.
Clemson has returning starters at key positions and a strong Defensive Front. I understand Gerogia will be strong all the way around based on recruiting and the fact Kirby can coach.

But, as irrational as some might find it, I am sitting at a 7 in terms of confidence going into this game.

A lot will depend on how well or bad the offense performs. I think they perform well enough to get it done.

Exactly!
Let this game be tight and Georgia has heard the noise about how good they are and how Clemson is done.

I think they start pressing and trying to do too much. That's when we likely see some type of game-changing mistake on their part.

If they have listened to the SEC media - "and they likely have" I see them pressing if they aren't way out.

TigersandCubs - Kirby might be sound enough to have that strategy; but will the players who have heard the noise?

grinding this game out. I don't think Georgia is going to come out slinging the ball around and looking to blow our doors off in the 1st half.

I'm expecting a bit more of a conservative approach early from Georgia. They will feel us out and see how we hold up in the trenches and whether our passing game has a pulse this year.

I feel the same way. Each team will want to win the turnover margin. I don't think anyone is thinking about blowing the other out. The focus is on getting the win. I expect a tight game that may come down to a couple of key series. I just hope we play clean and keep ourselves close heading into the 4th quarter. If we do that, I think we have a great chance to pull the upset.
