Some Tiger fans must have given him the business on Twitter, because that poor fart looked like someone stole his puppy Wednesday, and said some Clemson fan said they thought his face looked gibberish

His dad certainly speaks gibberish

His dad and the comic relief he brings has saved his show.

Without that aspect of the show, Lebatard would not have expanded into the TV market. He'd just be another Miami sports writer and not "the" Miami sports writer.

But can you understand him? I cannot.

I understand most of what he says...

His occasional struggle with pronunciation is where they get some of their laughs. Stugotz is a good compliment to Lebatard. I honestly would probably still be a regular listener if he wasn't always pushing the envelope to the extreme.

There was a time when I really liked Dan Lebatard's show.

Jan 8, 2016, 8:34 PM

He had a different point of view, was entertaining, and always seemed to get good interviews. But over the past couple of years he seems to have become a guy who just says the most controversial thing possible. He puts extra and unnecessary effort into saying something different, even if he's wrong.

I know these sports talk guys get a lot of attention when they tick people off. But if that's all you're doing then I will place my attention elsewhere. It seems like Howard Stern opened a box for radio personalities that we can't seem to close. Lebatard has become the political shock jock of sports talk radio.

Used to be a guy like that in Charlotte on sports radio. It was awful. Too much "best/worst ever" talk every day...too much exaggeration and prisoner of the moment.

Le Batard is the same thing, and it's working because here we are talking about him
