It doesnt matter. We have played 3 games, the toughest against an 0-3 Louisville. Its about to get real with ND. Beat ND, we move up. Win out and we will be there. This poll means absolutely nothing.

highly ranked A&M a close game. They have to keep all the SEC ranked to have a shot at the playoffs. Folks, it is not going to happen this year. The SEC is over rated, again, this year.

At home.
MSU lost to a very good LSU team in a game they could have won.
Duke wins a few more games and they will be ranked. Dukes offense is terrible and most people, including me, don't think they have enough offense to beat quality teams.

I wouldn't say they were dominated. Duke led for a good of that game I'd I'm not mistaken. And I'm starting to wonder if Northwestern might not be legit. Not Big 10 title legit, but #2-3 in conference good. That Stanford win looks better every week actually.

My point is the media/coaches don't feel NW is a legit top tier team. The season will define that but as of NOW, most feel Duke losing at home to NW is more telling than beating a GT team that doesn't have a decent win and got fried by ND in the first start of a freshman QB.
I don't think Duke was ever in the lead but frankly, I don't follow them so you may be correct.

No one has seen us play in a long time and we didn't blow Louisville out (totally unrealistic to think we could, the win was all that mattered). When we send ND back to Indiana crying all the way, we'll be ranked higher.

It won't be long before somebody gets their first loss and doesn't drop passed Clemson in the polls. We've known from the beginning that the ACC only makes the PO with an undefeated team.

Secure a win against ND and hopefully do it in convincing fashion. That would turn some heads and earn serious respect. Then take care of business against the rest of the ACC and everything will work out well for the Tigers.
