Nick Saban (whichever is tops to Bama fans). I have been saying that for years. If he stays here for several more years , he definitely will be the GOAT(as much as I hate that term) for Clemson fans.

Dabo will not follow Saban, Dabo will follow the next guy that gets fired

Not the answer to the question. Asking if you feel like Dabo is Clemson's version of the greatest at our school like either Bear or Saban is the greatest at theirs.

I just see the progression of our coaches through the generations - Frank Howard, then Danny, now Dabo. All three have or had well defined personalities and are not the new or local version of anybody else!

I don’t think of Dabo (or any coach) in that manner. He gets paid to do a job, just like any coach. If he were gone tomorrow, I would be sad to see him go, but ‘next man up’ as they say.

I watch as much Dabo content and I can get because his talking points enlighten me. They make me think about things differently, in a more positive manner.

Once he won that second National Championship he was Clemson’s version of Bear Bryant.

Yeah. A perfect season, in any sport, is truly rarefied air.

The exclamation point on that season vs Bama was something to behold.
I was a believer early on, though, and still blown away by what he's accomplished since.
Go Tigers! Go Dabo!

I have believed he was the best Clemson coach ever since the end of the 2015 season. Once we made it to the national championship game, even though we lost that year, you could just feel the confidence and hope he had brought to the program. It was easy to believe the next national championship wasn’t far away.

Great question. Since he won the second title it was solidfied. I was leaning towards it on the 2017 Kelly Bryant year as it looked like we were rolling for years to come. Ever since he's just become our Bobby Bowden. And its not even negotiable. It was a 10 year run of 10 wins or more. Mostly 11 wins each year.
That is a historic run thats only been done 1 or 2 times in the modern era. Bowden, Saban, and Dabo. he deserves to be in that teir of legends now
Build the statue. Rename the stadium. Dabo Swinney Memorial Stadium.
