Apparently,and this is just an educated guess,he is still the commissioner,and will as long as he wants to be.
He is the 4th commissioner since 1954,with 16 years tenure.
Two of the previous three had tenures of 15 years and and both died while in office so I suspect Swoffie will serve till h#!! freezes over,Clemson
finally wins in Chapel Hill( basketball) or he too dies in office.

Now I am aware that CU would have never lost an ACC contest without a directive from Swofford to fix the game, but to the few realists that post on this forum, this is why Swofford is, and will be, the commish. The man saved the conference. Bottom line. If not for the expansion he brought to the conference everyone would be scrambling for a new conference as the ACC would be no more.
