Just finished watching the post game press conference and I had a 2 main takeaways:
1.) Brownell tries to put the most positive spin on how we play. Attributes most of the poor play by us on the fact that FSU is a talented and long team and then continuously restates how much heart we played with. Sadly, heart doesn't compensate for poor coaching. 2.) he doesn't seem upset that we lost, but just disappointed. The underlying tone during the press conference was that we should just accept the loss, we played well, but the other team played better so we should just accept that and move on. I don't think Brownell hates losing enough to be a coach that can make us relevant in the basketball world, and the last 6 years have been proof of that.
