I’m not old enough myself to have kids so I’m curious to see what other Clemson fans do. Are your kids allowed to date Coots fans? I’m sure you frown upon it but does anyone deliberately say “no, don’t bring a coots fan to my house” obviously this is more teenage years to young adult for dating and stuff like that.

As much as I like to bash on that school, although sometimes it feels like I'm picking on the special kid, if you're a grounded person, you'll see that there are higher priority things in life than sports.
My family is split 50/50 Clemson to Sakerlina, and we all love to give each other a hard time... however, if I cut out all the chickens from my family, I wouldn't be the man I am today.
So if my son wants to marry a gamecock gal, so be it. I'm more concerned with her faith, her family values, her character, and, of course, her drive in life.
... as long as she isn't a crazy liberal.

Like come on as much as everyone loves college rivalries all over the South I care more about the content of the character of the person my son or daughter is dating over where they went to school.

I was born and raised a Gamecock. I married into a Clemson Family Her Dad was a 1943 Graduate of Clemson! We went to Clemson games at noon and Her Dad and I would go see the Gamecocks play at night. there was never any pressure to Convert. However, in 1977 after "The Catch" I, dressed in Garnet, Had to fight my way out of the stadium to protect My Wife that was dressed in Orange. I completely converted. We have been members of IPTAY for over 50 years. I like to think that's the Second best thing that has happened to me. The best is that Bride of over 55 years!
