How does the team get to road games?

8

Jun 9, 2023, 7:46 AM

As luck would have it, my cousin Ricky got put on the No Fly List due to a misunderstanding with a fellow passenger on his last trip. Spirit Airlines let him transfer a ticket to me while he appeals, so I get to fly on Sunday with a couple of his friends and his pastor that also sells timeshares.

The pastor is really well connected and got us free rounds of golf at some public courses that the brochure says are “really nice” as long as we tour timeshares in the surrounding area each day. I’ve got to pretend I’m Ricky because they already ran his credit as part of the screening process and my credit is worse than Florida and Miami’s NIL programs.

Anyways, this whole thing got me to thinking about Clemson traveling to road games. I’m scared of flying but have no choice since Spirit wouldn’t agree to transfer my ticket to Greyhound.

How does Dabo get all them players on the plane? There has to be at least 20 that want no part of getting in that death trap with a bunch of guys that weigh 300 lbs or more and I doubt Dabo lets them get hammered to take the edge off. Flying LITERALLY defies the laws of gravity and physics so it has to be an issue.

Sorry if I don’t post for a few days. I’m not sure if they offer things like free Wi-Fi out west and we will certainly be out late. I saw pictures from the last time they did this and it looked pretty wild. They did some things that would make even Georgia players blush. I can’t wait to send pictures to my ex to show that I’ve moved on.

Dabo has a steak buffet in the back that can only be

accessed AFTER you board the plane. And, it contains knockout drops, so that they can't game the system by swiping some Angus and then exiting the plane.

You are welcome.

That’s the type of inside scoop that keeps me coming back. Thanks!

His first mistake was flying Spirit...

I have never flown Spirit but I have friends who have. Spirit generally leads the airline industry in complaints by a large margin. Most are due to delays, cancellations, and unreliable flight schedules. Many other complaints involve problems with refunds, reservations, ticketing, boarding, and baggage issues. Other than cancellations, the biggest complaints I've heard (and I fly A LOT for work) is their customer service is terrible, the seats are uncomfortable/cramped, and their "bare fare" fee system is terribly misleading.

No airline delivers 100% on their customer satisfaction. Even the legacy carriers like American, Delta, and United experience their share of issues like delays, cancellations, and customer complaints. You just have to ask yourself, is flying without any frills, uncomfortable seats, or a strong likelihood of not reaching your destination on time worth the cost savings.

I've flown Spirit. It's like sitting on a small park bench with 2 complete strangers. You get to know them very well by the end of the flight. Seats don't recline, EVERYTHING is for an additional fee, no magazines to look at even, and expect to get stuck somewhere due to a delay. But for $39-49 out of Charleston or Myrtle I might do it again! Just buy the insurance to cover your delay expenses.

I for one am glad you are stopping. You are one of the most ignorant posters ever. You obviously think very highly of your own opinion, unlike the rest of us - RockHillTiger

Did you miss the part about me being scared of flying? Why would you post that GIF? I’m legit sweating right now.

Never been so uncomfortable. Sat at the gate for an hour at San Juan Airport, warm air blowing out.

My cousin knows this woman whose daughter's boyfriend knows a person who works part time cleaning Dabo's office, who says he saw a memo on Dabos desk that was addressed to the ACC Commish and it stated that if Clemson was still in the ACC in 2024, hat Clemson would have to start using Greyhound for it's travel to away games based on the paltry amount of money it was getting from its GOR.

We may see the end of the buses taking the players from locker room to top of the hill. That same person said that was why the tunnel was being built. Another source said they were going to start using mule pulled wagons and that is why Clemson was getting a vet school, so they could care for the mules.

I trust these sources and I think they may be able to help you get that Spirit ticket traded in for a Greyhound ticket. Don't tell anyone about the part time janitor, well, actually his title was changed to reflect the BIG way of doing things, to "Office Helpful Compliance Engineer". He did get a raise of 2 cents an hour with the upgrade.

You never went into much detail about how Ricky was placed on a no flight list. I’d love to hear the details so that I can prevent that from happening to a loved one.
