How does everyone Feel about Cal, Stanford and SMU being in the ACC now?

I was not a fan of the California Schools and was lukewarm on SMU. After half a season It seems that these schools has help the league. The gameplay has been pretty good. So far it seems to be overall positive.
The geography is the obvious aspect that makes this union most complicated. We'll see if that is a problem mainly with the non-revenue sports.
I guess so far so good.
California got an education on ACC refs....

i think schedule creation was very bad and the possibility that 3 teams could go undefeated because they never played each other is a huge fail on the ACC

Mathematically… 5 teams can go undefeated every year in the ACC
That would be reduced to 3 teams if the conference divided into divisions and played a round robin.

Geographically speaking, I am very much against CalFord. The travel time and costs are excessive. There is no history between Clemson and these left coast outliers. Their stadiums are in really bad shape. It was a move of desperation by Jim PHillips to bring them in. And they bring nothing to the ACC in terms of competitiveness. Nothing.
As for SMU, they bring nothing more to the table than $$$$$. I have zero respect for the type of program they run.

Meh… I pull for Clemson, win or lose, 16-0 or 3-10. However, I do think these exotic foreigners add some spice to the schedule.

I think all 3 schools are good additions quality-wise. They will be even better is a number of the other sports.
The travel/jet lag issue is a bit of a problem - in both directions.
