Totally agree.
I believe people are sleeping on him. I say do so at your own peril. In this particular game, I see him as the Clemson answer to Jordan Davis. If we are right, this team is a playoff team even if the offense is just average.

NC State winning the title is in the same 247 story as Clemson potentially beating Georgia. Not a prediction but one that would be notable in the '24 season.

Not sure. I didn't think the conference champ auto bids kick in until 26. Could be wrong but thought I saw that somewhere.

Na auto bids kick in this year. All 4 major conferences the champ gets an auto bids (ACC, SEC, BIG10, & Big12 ) along with the highest ranking non power conference team. Then wild cards will be the other 7 highest ranked teams left. Top 4 teams get a bye and 5-12 play each other at the higher seeds home stadium.

At last , a glimmer of hope from a respectable source.
It is possible
Like I've said before , we will have to jump out to an early 10 -14 point lead.
We also need a solid no.2 RB to spell Mafah so he remains strong late into the 4th Q , when we'll need to ride him out and control the clock.
Our WRs will have to step up. I think they will. Bolstered by improved Oline play CK too will need to show improvement.
We absolutely need a little help.
Might I remind you all championship teams have a little luck on the way..
Im referring to the turnover battle.
That's one statistical category we have to win.
If we can jump out to an early lead we have a defense that can hold them off.
I don't like the scenario of playing from behind.
Yes. This is a lot to ask , but it's possible

Now that the playoff has been expanded, Georgia can lose to Clemson, drop another SEC game somewhere, and still easily make the playoff with two losses.
If we still had last year's rule, sure. Now? Won't matter one bit for them.

years, we have finally decided to get out of our own way, and play CLEMSON football again. That 10-3 debacle with Georgia to open the '21 season was really the last time we took the field EXPECTING to win. The fact that the offense was suddenly non-existent was a complete shock to the system, and only the fact that the defense remained stalwart kept us in games.
The start of THIS season needs to be a New Dawn. This Tiger needs to prove he has his teeth back, and I believe he will. Roar! This is going to be our year!
