How did Georgia get to their current level? They are heads and shoulders

above any team in the nation. Granted Alabama beat them but remember waited a year to play them again. I am convinced that if they played again Georgia would win by 20+. Georgia’s second team would be a top 15, if not 10 team. How did this happen?

Yep--the same way they always got players. The bagman=NIL in years past.

Not sure I would say head and shoulders over every team. They are definitely a top four team. Florida State was never a top 4 team.

Georgia got to their current level by elite recruiting. They rarely use the portal. What you see is elite recruiting with elite development. Gotta match Kirbys zeal for recruiting

Head and shoulders above every other team?!?? 🤣 They just lost to the number 4 team in the playoff who didn't even deserve to be there in the first place. They barely beat GA tech and the coots gave them a #### of a game

Don't be dramatic

It's almost like when you could start paying players without having to try to hide it, Georgia became really good...

$$$$$. What they've done all along is kind of legal now.***

They struggled in games this year. Heck even the coots had them on the ropes. FSU just has no gas tonight. No talent left. No inspiration.

They dominated a half-interested FSU JV squad

It’s unfortunate we didn’t play them once between 2015-2020.

We would have beat the brakes off them like we did Alabama in Santa Clara.

I don’t get the infatuation with Georgia and everyone acting like we are some group of 5 team that can’t hang with the Georgia and Alabama type teams. The 2023 defense was good enough to keep us in any game you could have put on our schedule. People act like we have never been on the same level, I mean my goodness we beat the brakes off of Saban’s best team ever, shutout Ohio st, nearly shutout Notre dame, beat Alabama on a come from behind 4th quarter effort, should have beat Alabama the first time in 2015 (with Mackenzie Alexander we do). All of this wasn’t 40 years ago. Has the offensive side of the ball seen a drastic drop off? Sure. We are still recruiting where we always have for the most part. It’s not like we are a group full of scrubs. We need to figure out the offensive side of the ball no doubt, but everyone needs to quit acting like we are Liberty dreaming of being on the same level of Georgia.

Because they bring in top 3 recruiting classes yearly.
They use the portal to fill in roster gaps.
They do not hire friends, alumni, or family.
They do not offer coaches kids preferred walk ons.
