copied-Is the Clemson standard starting to lose some of its shine? While the doom-and-gloom outlook that ran rampant throughout Dabo Swinney's transfer portal avoidance this offseason was probably a bit overblown, the Tigers are clearly a step behind the dominance that defined the 2010s. The program still has conference title aspirations and playoff goals, but the gap between Clemson and the rest of the ACC continues to shrink. If quarterback Cade Klubnik does not make a significant leap in his second year as the starter, the Tigers could miss out on a league title game appearance for the second time in as many seasons.

If you think the gap hasn’t closed a bit the last several years from the ACC and national dominance we had 2015-2020 years. Look at who we’ve lost to and look at the scores.

OK, thanks for the innovative insight.
I’ll forward to the coaching staff so they can quickly take action to address these concerns.
In the meantime, are you excited about the upcoming c0cks season?

It seems to me, the level of perfection that some here on Tnet believe we should have is a mirage. I have thought about this for quite some time and going through the entire history of football ( Pro, college, even high school) there has never been a team that would meet the levels that would satisfy the naysayers that predict the demise of our beloved Tigers.
I may have missed something, not sure. If there has been a team that rose to the mountain top and stayed there without having a drop off and had to retool, please share that team with me so that I can share in the amazement.

We stand a better chance than some for a Natty this year and worst chance than others. Who knows! We may be lucky.

Fake News Coot 58-66 last 10 years

This is the best team we’ve had in a long time.
We were very close to being a one loss team last year, Clemson has been more consistent WINNING than any team in college football save Alabama the last ten years.
Clemson will be a very good team this season and we have a real shot at being in the National Championship.
Coots 58-66 last 10 years bless their hearts❤️
