NCAA championship, 3 regionals in a row. I am sure we have better facilities and can pay more. Definitely should be considered.

Well, he's coaching at his alma mater, and is the highest paid coach there (makes over $400 K, about $25 K more than football HC Chadwell). I think if he wanted more money, he'd have left after winning the NC.
And, he's in his 60's.

over thirty years. I heard him being interviewed by Danny and Dusty this morning, and you could tell he just loves it there and has no interest in ever leaving! And, he is 63 years old...I wouldn't consider anyone past their mid-50's, or you will be searching again in just a few years.
I think I would go after the Notre Dame coach...he's 50 and has ties to South Carolina, having played and coached at the Citadel. I think ND is his only job outside the southeast! He was head coach at UNC-Greensboro for seven years, before going to ND.

Jarrett is a HR hire and should be the first call if he's interested. Jarrett never played or coached at the Citadel. He played at FSU and was an assistant at Flagler, Mercer, then ECU. He then was HC at UNC-Greensboro before taking helm at ND. FSU would be his dream job, but I don't see Martin Jr. retiring or getting let go anytime soon. I listened to his interview on ACC Radio this morning and his demeanor and candor are tailor made for Clemson. You can tell he has a lot of Mike Martin and Bobby Bowden influence in how he interacts with the media. The longer this search goes the more i think its zeroing in on someone in the tournament.
